Vestibular migraine(VM)is a clinically common recurrent vertigo-like disorder with predominantly vestibular symptoms.Changes in the natural and socio-human environment can often coerce the onset of VM.The mech-anisms of VM induced by environmental stress may be related to various aspects of the brain-gut axis,neural circuitry,neuroanatomy,and abnormal sensory integration.The uncovering of the pathogenesis of VM induced by environmental stressors has important clinical implications for the prevention and treatment of VM.
