Cochlear implant(CI)restores hearing sense to people with severe to profound hearing loss. The re-stored hearing by CI is insufficient for complex auditory perception compared with natural hearing.Music perception of CI hearing is difficult and with significant individual differences.Music is essential in children's development and edu-cation.It is necessary to evaluate music perception of children CI users. This paper reviews related researches on subjec-tive and objective assessment methods for music perception of CI children. The applicability and limitations are dis-cussed.The objective assessment methods for music perception based on brain-computer interface(BCI)are well ap-plied in CI children with satisfied results, and therefore has great potentials.
