Idiopathic tinnitus is one of the common problems in otorhinolaryngology because of its unclear mech-anism and lack of specific therapeutic methods. With the rapid development of fMRI,more and more researches believe that the pathological mechanism of tinnitus is not only involved in the auditory system, but also the result of dynamic in-teraction among multiple overlapping brain networks, such as hearing, default, executive control, salience and attention networks. This article reviews the fMRI research progress on the brain function network related to tinnitus and lays a solid foundation for further exploration of the pathogenesis of tinnitus,in order to provide a new target for clinical treat-ment of idiopathic tinnitus and intervention measures.
