线粒体功能障碍在老年性聋中的研究进展

Progress of Research on Mitochondrial Dysfunction in Presbycusis

老年性聋又称年龄相关性听力损失(age related hearing loss,ARHL),是随着年龄增长而发生的双侧渐进性、对称性的感音性神经性耳聋.在老年人群中,外周或中枢听觉细胞易受到损伤,一旦损伤将很难再生或修复,进而导致老年性聋的发生.有大量证据表明,在此过程中线粒体功能障碍对听觉细胞的影响是致命的,还可加重氧化应激对其产生的威胁.因此,明确线粒体功能障碍与老年性聋之间的密切关系对老年性聋的防治至关重要,现进行系统的文献综述,以期为老年性聋的研究提供新的思路和有效方法.
Presbycusis,also known as age-related hearing loss(ARHL),is a bilateral progressive and symmetri-cal sensorineural hearing loss that occurs with the increase of Age.In the elderly population,peripheral or central audito-ry cells are vulnerable to damage.Once lost,they are difficult to regenerate or repair,leading to the occurrence of pres-bycusis.There is abundant evidence that mitochondrial dysfunction can be fatal to auditory cells during this process,and can also aggravate the threat from oxidative stress.Therefore,it is critical to understand the close relationship between mitochondrial dysfunction and presbycusis for the prevention and treatment of presbycusis.This article systematically reviews the relationship between mitochondrial dysfunction and presbycusis in order to provide new ideas and pathways for the research on presbycusis.
