Postoperative nausea and vomiting ( PONV ) is one of the common complications after joint replacement, and it is also a common manifestation of gastrointestinal dysfunction during perioperative period. Persistent and severe PONV has a great adverse effect on the postoperative rehabilitation process of patients.
