Research on the Occupational and Residential Space Layout of Non-Registered Population in the Metropolitan Area of Megacities:Taking Beijing and Chengdu as Examples
Taking Beijing and Chengdu as objects, based on national floating population questionnaire survey data and mobile phone signaling data, this paper studies the occupational and residential profile, settlement willingness, spatial pattern and commuting characteristics of non-registered population in megacity metropolitan areas. The research finds:(1)The vast majority of non-registered population are engaged in service occupations and renting private houses;(2)Inter-city commuting has become an important part of commuting in megacities, and the megacity metropolitan region has formed into being;(3)The non-registered population in megacities presents a"circle and radial"distribution pattern;(4)The employment suburbanization of non-registered population in megacities lags behind the process of residential suburbanization, and the degree of job-housing separation of non-registered population is higher than that of the local people;5)The out ring of megacity metropolitan areas bear the dual functions of population overflow in central cities and agglomeration of external populations, and have obvious characteristics of excessive commuting. Finally, the optimization strategy of the occupational and residential space layout of the non-registered population in the megacity metropolitan area is proposed.
