Study on the Performance of a Novel Heat Pump Drying System under Constant Temperature Drying Mode
The feasibility of heat pump drying technology's feasibility as a practical drying method is a result of its unique drying principle, which not only promotes energy conservation and environmental sustainability but also ensures the comprehensive quality of the products.Through experimental research and theoretical analysis, this study focuses on the performance of a novel multi-functional enclosed heat pump drying technology under a constant temperature drying mode. The bypass rate optimal adjustment of the drying medium is necessary to maximize the specific moisture extraction rate(SMER)and enhance energy efficiency based on varying drying conditions and stages.During the drying process, the increase in drying temperature leads to a corresponding increase in heat generation. However,it should be noted that the coefficient of performance(COP)decreases when the temperature exceeds a certain range. Therefore, achieving optimal drying performance involves selecting an appropriate drying temperature within a suitable range and dynamically adjusting the bypass rate based on the parameters of the drying medium. This approach ensures the highest efficiency of the drying system, resulting in the best dehumidification effects.
