Dynamic Load Characterization of High Contact Ratio Spur Gears
Aiming at the differential change between the number of meshing teeth of high contact ratio spur gears and ordinary spur gears,a pair of high contact ratio spur gears and ordinary spur gears are studied, through the finite element method to solve the time-varying mesh stiffness of the gears, the establishment of high contact ratio spur gears mesh-coupled dynamics model, the use of the Newmark-β time-domain inte-gral to solve the dynamic response of the gear system, the time-frequency domain analysis and comparison with the ordinary spur gears,to get the dynamic load coefficient change rule of high contact ratio spur gears under the influence of different rotational speeds and errors. The results show that the high contact ratio spur gear meshing stiffness and ordinary gears have a big difference, its dynamic response results in fluctuation amplitude compared with ordinary spur gears have significantly reduced, improve the stability of the sys-tem;the dynamic load coefficient of the high contact ratio spur gears decreases significantly compared with that of the ordinary spur gears and increases to a different extent with the rise of the rotational speed and the increase of the error,of which the increase is obvious in the resonance rotational speed range.
