Value Analysis of Ultrasound Puncture in Diagnosis of Ti-Rads Type 4 Thyroid Nodules
Objective To analyze value of new ultrasound technology in diagnosis of TI-RADS type 4 thyroid nodules. Methods The paper reviewed and researched 50 patients with thyroid nodules in the hospital from January 2021 to December 2023.Routine ultrasound scans were performed first, malignancy risk of nodules was evaluated based on TI-RADS.The paper divided them into categories 4a,4b,and 4c,all patients were treated with fine needle puncture examination under ultrasound guidance.Specificity, accuracy, and sensitivity of puncture were evaluated in diagnosis of thyroid nodules under TI-RADS based on postoperative pathological diagnosis results of patients. Results Positive predictive values, sensitivity, accuracy, specificity, and negative evaluation values of thyroid imaging reports and data system analysis were 100.0%,100.0%,100.0%,100.0%,and 100.0%for category 4a,90.1%,75%,83.0%,94.7%,and 60.0%for category 4b,and 94.1%,100.0%,94.4%,100.0%,and 50.00%for category 4c.Overall values were 92.1%,91.6%,92.0%,97.2%,and 78.5%.Conclusion Ultrasound guided puncture has high sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy in distinguishing benign and malignant thyroid nodules, can further clarify that TI-RADS classification 4a has low risk of malignancy, while 4b and 4c has high risk of malignancy, which has high research value.
