The Application Value of Cardiac Color Doppler Ultrasound Combined with Carotid Artery Ultrasound in the Examination of Elderly Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To explore the application value of cardiac color Doppler ultrasound combined with carotid artery ultrasound in the examination of elderly coronary heart disease. Methods 104 elderly patients with suspected coronary heart disease admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects.Coronary angiography was used as the gold standard and divided into a coronary heart disease group of 58 cases and a non coronary heart disease group of 46 cases. All study subjects underwent cardiac ultrasound and carotid ultrasound examinations. The IMT,plaque score,LVEF,LVEDD,LVESD,LA index levels of the two groups were analyzed, and the IMT of different disease branches were observed The accuracy of plaque score, various cardiac ultrasound indicators, and two examination methods. Results Compared with non coronary heart disease patients, patients with coronary heart disease had significantly higher IMT,plaque score,LVEDD,LVESD,LA indicators, and significantly lower LVEF compared to the non coronary heart disease group, with statistically significant differences between groups(P<0.05);The IMT,plaque score,LVEDD,LVESD,and LA indicators of different disease branches increased in sequence, while LVEF decreased in sequence, with statistically significant differences between groups(P<0.05);Comparing the positive rates of echocardiography, carotid artery ultrasound, and combined diagnosis,it was found that the positive rate of combined examination was significantly higher than that of individual examination, and the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference(P>0.05)in the positive rates of individual examinations between cardiac color ultrasound and carotid artery ultrasound. Conclusion:The combination of cardiac color ultrasound and carotid artery ultrasound can better evaluate the patient's condition and improve the accuracy of diagnosis for screening coronary heart disease.
