This paper reviews the origin,development,measurement tools and research applications of protective motivation theory at home and abroad,and discusses the current status of interventional research and correlation research in patients with chronic diseases,and provides design ideas for personalized intervention programs for patients with chronic diseases based on network means combined with other theories.
