Effect Observation of Combination of Propylthiouracil and Fluroxypprednisolone in Treatment of Autoimmune Thyroid Associated Hyperthyroidism
Objective To observe clinical effect of combination of propylthiouracil and fluroxypprednisolone in treatment of autoimmune thyroid disease(AITD)with hyperthyroidism. Methods The paper chose 104 AITD patients with hyperthyroidism admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to March 2023 as study subjects, and divided them into control group and experimental group randomly, with 52 cases in each group.Control group was treated with propylthiouracil, while experimental group with combination of propylthiouracil and fluroxydnisolone.Curative effect between two groups was observed. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in levels of TSH,FT3,FT4,TPOAb,TGAb,CT,PTH,and BGP between two groups, there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).After treatment, levels of TSH and PTH in both groups increased, while levels of FT3,FT4,TPOAb,TGAb,CT,and BGP decreased. Those in experimental group were higher than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).total effective rate after treatment in control group was 78.85%,while that in experimental group was 96.15%,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Drug combination therapy can achieve significant effect for AITD patients with hyperthyroidism, while combination of propylthiouracil and fluoromethylprednisolone has significant curative advantage, which is worth recommending.
