Study on Common Virus Types and Epidemiological Clinical Characteristics of Respiratory Tract Infection in Children
Objective To explore the common virus types and epidemiological and clinical characteristics of respiratory tract infection in children. Methods 120 cases of respiratory tract infection admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects.Nasopharyngeal swabs and blood samples were taken to detect the common virus types by using nine IgM antibody detection kits for respiratory tract infection pathogens(indirect immunofluorescence method),and the epidemiological and clinical characteristics were summarized. Results Among the 120 cases of children with respiratory tract infection, influenza virus A was the main virus type, followed by influenza virus B and respiratory syncytial virus. There was no significant difference in the detection rate of different sex children(P>0.05).The detection rate of respiratory virus in spring was higher than that in other seasons, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the comparison of the detection rate of respiratory tract virus in children of various ages, the detection rate of respiratory tract virus in children from June to 6 years old was the highest.<6 months of children had the lowest detection rate of respiratory tract virus, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Influenza virus A,influenza virus B and respiratory syncytial virus were common virus types in children with respiratory tract infection, and the high incidence season was concentrated in spring every year, and children from June to 6 years old were the high incidence population.Active prevention is helpful to reduce the incidence of this kind of disease.
