Mastery Degree and Influencing Factors Analysis of Insulin Use Related Knowledge of Elderly Patients with Diabetes
Objective To explore knowledge degree on insulin use of elderly patients with diabetes and its influencing factors.Methods The paper reviewed and analyzed clinical data of 376 elderly patients with diabetes admitted to Beijing Nuclear Industry Hospital from March 2019 to April 2021,carried on survey on general information of included patients and knowledge mastery related to insulin use,and analyzed factors affecting knowledge mastery related to insulin use.Results According to mastery of insulin knowledge of elderly patients with diabetes,patients were divided into mastery group of 174 cases and lack of mastery group of 202 cases.Univariate analysis showed,age,disease course,psychological resistance to drugs,educational level,and family support were influencing factors for insulin knowledge master of elderly patients with diabetes(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed,psychological resistance to medication and disease course of more than 10 years were risk factors for insulin knowledge mastery of elderly patients(P<0.05).Conclusion Elderly patients with diabetes have relatively low level of insulin use related knowledge.Drug psychological resistance and disease duration>10 years are risk factors affecting their insulin knowledge.
