In recent years,nursing education in China has experienced rapid development,cultivated a large number of excellent nursing talents.with development of the times,the internet and various new modern information technologies have gradually integrated deeply with nursing education,playing an important role in cultivating hands-on ability,training clinical thinking ability,and enhancing nursing skills of students.Among them,virtual simulation technology is an important new information technology,which has been widely applied in nursing education field in recent years.The article provides brief analysis of virtual information technology and its application characteristics in nursing education,and reviews current application status of virtual simulation technology in nursing education and analyzes faced challenges.
