The Exploration of LBL/CBL/PBL Cross Teaching Method for Clinical Pharmacist Training in Our Hospital
Objective To explore a new method for training clinical pharmacists,and to provide reference for improving the level of clinical pharmacy teaching.Methods In the theoretical study and clinical practice,the traditional teaching method(LBL),case-oriented(CBL)and problem-oriented(PBL)teaching methods were applied to the training of clinical pharmacist training base.Clinical pharmacists were divided into two groups:the control group took LBL theory as the main teaching method.The study group was LBL/CBL/PBL cross-teaching group.The component stage training:the first stage of theoretical knowledge inculcated mainly by LBL method;The second and third stages of training were based on the CBL/PBL method.Clinical practice stage:In the first stage,the teaching of pharmaceutical inquiry,pharmaceutical care and patient medication education is mainly based on LBL method,supplemented by cross-CBL/PBL method.In the second stage,CBL/PBL method is the main method for the formulation of patient treatment plan,and LBL method is supplemented when encountering new cases and other special circumstances.Results The scores of the study group in theory assessment,consultation assessment and case assessment were higher than those of the control group,and the score improvement rates were 2.8%,9.82%and 7.79%,respectively.The score of the study group was also higher than that of the control group in the evaluation of the teacher and the director of the student unit,with an increase rate of 6.16%and 10.97%respectively.Conclusion LBL/CBL/PBL cross teaching method has better teaching effect than simply using one of the teaching methods,which can make clinical pharmacist students grow into specialized clinical pharmacists with independent working ability,and avoid the situation of solid theoretical knowledge but insufficient probem-solving ability.
