The Effect of PDCA Cycle Management in Medical Record Management on Improving the Level of Inpatient Medical Record Management
Objective To explore the role of PDCA cycle management model in inpatient medical record management.Methods 200 inpatient medical records without PDCA cycle management from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected as the control group,200 inpatient medical records with PDCA cycle management from January 2022 to December 2022 were taken as the observation group,The quality before and after PDCA cycle management was compared,and the rate of Grade A medical records,3-day recovery rate,repair rate,complaint rate and patient satisfaction were calculated.Results The total incidence of error events such as missing or wrong filling in the first page of medical records,missing items in borrowing registration and reverse order in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was significant(P<0.05);The rate of grade A medical records,3-day recovery rate,repair rate and complaint rate of observation group were statistically significant compared with control group(P<0.05);The satisfaction rate of patients with hospital record management was 96.00%in observation group and 87.50%in control group,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of PDCA cycle management in hospital medical records management can greatly improve the quality of hospital medical records management,improve the recovery rate and patient satisfaction rate,reduce the repair rate and complaint rate,shorten the time of medical records arrangement,and have high promotion value.
