Evaluation of the Efficacy of Unilateral Two-channel Spinal Endoscopy in the Treatment of Degenerative Lumbar disc Herniation
Objective To investigate the effect of unilateral double-channel spinal endoscopy for the treatment of degenerative lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods A total of 80 patients with degenerative LDH treated from February 2021 to January 2023 were included and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with percutaneous endoscopic interlaminar approach discectomy, while the observation group was treated with unilateral double-channel spinal endoscopy. The perioperative indexes, lumbar function and pain scores(JOA,ODI,VAS)before and after treatment, and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared. Results The operation time and hospital stay in observation group were shorter than those in control group(P<0.05).At three months after operation, the JOA score of observation group was higher than that of control group, the ODI score and VAS score of observation group were lower than that of control group(P<0.05);As for the statistical results of complications,no statistical difference was found in the incidence of complications between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Unilateral dual-channel spinal endoscopy is satisfactory in the treatment of degenerative LDH.The operation time and hospital stay are short, which can effectively improve the lumbar function and relieve pain, and the incidence of postoperative complications is low.
