Objective To analyze rehabilitation effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing pathway for colon cancer surgical patients.Methods The paper chose 80 patients with surgical treatment for colon cancer from January 2021 to March 2023,and divided them into reference group of 40 cases and experimental group of 40 cases randomly.Reference group was treated with routine nursing during the perioperative period,while experimental group with rapid rehabilitation nursing during the perioperative period.Postoperative rehabilitation effect between two groups was compared.Results Experimental group took less time in terms of time indicators including first exhaust,first defecation,recovery of bowel sounds,and out of bed activity than control group,P<0.05.Scores of physical function,psychological function,social function,material life status,and overall life quality in experimental group after surgery were higher than control group,P<0.05.VAS scores in experimental group were lower at 1 day and 3 days after surgery than control group,P<0.05.Total incidence of postoperative complications was 25.00%in reference group and 2.50%in experimental group,with statistical significance P<0.05.Conclusion Rapid rehabilitation nursing pathway model can play significant role in promoting gastrointestinal function recovery and improving life quality of patients with colon cancer surgery during perioperative period,which has high promotion value.
