Effect of Tonifying Qi and Cooling Blood Decoction Combined with Carboprost Tromethamine on Postpartum Hemorrhage Caused By Uterine Atony and Its Effect on Oxidative Stress
Objective To explore effect of tonifying qi and cooling blood decoction combined with carboprost tromethamine on postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine atony and its effect on oxidative stress.Methods The paper chose 90 patients with postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine atony admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022,and divided them into control group(45 cases)and experimental group(45 cases)with random number table mehtod,treated with carboprost tromethamine and tonifying qi and cooling blood decoction combined with carboprost tromethamine respectively.Total effective rate,bleeding volume,bleeding duration,incidence of postpartum hemorrhage related complications,and levels of superoxide dismutase,lipid peroxide,and glutathione peroxidase were compared before and after treatment between two groups.Results The total effective rate of experimental group was 95.56%,significantly higher than 77.78%in control group(P＜0.05).Bleeding amount and duration in experimental group was significantly lower than control group.Incidence of bleeding and postpartum infection in experimental group was significantly lower than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,levels of superoxide dismutase in both groups were significantly higher than before treatment(P＜0.05).After treatment,levels of lipid peroxides and glutathione peroxidase in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P＜0.05).However,levels of superoxide dismutase,lipid peroxide,and glutathione peroxidase in experimental group were significantly higher than control group after treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion Combination of tonifying qi and cooling blood decoction and carboprost tromethamine can promote uterine contractions effectively,control bleeding volume,shorten bleeding time,reduce incidence of postpartum hemorrhage related complications,and regulate oxidative stress level of the body in treatment of postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine atony.
