Curative Effect Analysis of Scar Core Resection Combined with Radiotherapy in Treatment of Chest Wall Scar Nodules
Objective To explore clinical curative effect of scar core resection combined with radiotherapy in treatment of chest wall keloids. Methods The paper chose The paper reviewed and analyzed 79 patients with thoracic scar nodules with scar core resection surgery in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022,treated with postoperative radiotherapy intervention, the first radiotherapy was completed within 24 hours after surgery, with cumulative dose range of 20~25 Gy(4~5 times).Patients were followed up 1 month,2 months, and 6 months after surgery to analyze treatment effect and complications.Severity of keloids after 6 months of treatment(VSS scores)was compared with before treatment.Result Patients had severe scars before treatment. After treatment, severity scores of scars decreased after 6 months(P<0.05).Results Effective rates of treatment were 93.6%,91.1%,and 82.2%after one month, two months, and six months respectively, with high treatment effective rate.Analysis of postoperative complications showed, four patients experienced pigment deposition after one month, eight patients experienced pigment deposition/local capillary dilation after two months,After 6 months, probability of 10 people experiencing pigment deposition/local capillary dilation was relatively low. Conclusion Scar core resection combined with radiotherapy can achieve ideal effect for chest wall scar tissue, can improve scar condition of patients effectively, which has high safety.
