Curative Effect Comparison of Modified Electroconvulsive Therapy Combined with Antipsychotic Drugs in Treatment of Female Refractory Schizophrenia
Objective To observe clinical effect of modified electroconvulsive therapy combined with antipsychotic drugs in treatment of female refractory schizophrenia.Methods The paper chose 82 female patients with refractory schizophrenia admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 as study subjects,and divided them into control group and observation group randomly according to odd even principle of case tail numbers,with 41 cases in each group.Control group was treated with antipsychotic drugs only,while observation group with modified electroconvulsive therapy combined with antipsychotic drugs.Clinical Effect,operational intelligence,language intelligence,anxiety level,and depression level was compared before and after treatment between two groups.Results Total effective rate of treatment in observation group was higher than control group(P<0.05).After treatment,scores of operational intelligence and language intelligence in both groups were higher than before treatment,improvement of operational intelligence and language intelligence scores in observation group were higher than control group(P<0.05).After treatment,anxiety and depression scores of both groups were lower than before treatment.Observation group had lower decrease in anxiety and depression scores than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified electroconvulsive therapy combined with antipsychotic drugs can achieve good curative effect,effectively improve cognitive abilities,alleviate negative emotions of female patients with refractory schizophrenia,which has high medical value.
