Study on the Efficacy of Lipoic Acid Combined with Methylcobalamin in the Treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
Objective To study and analyze the therapeutic effect of lipoic acid combined with methylcobalamin in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods 90 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy who received treatment in our hospital from August 2022 to March 2023 were divided into control group and observation group according to the time of admission. The control group received routine hypoglycemic drugs and methylcobalamin for treatment. The observation group was treated with lipoic acid on the basis of the control value, and the clinical efficacy, nerve conduction velocity and symptom improvement of the two groups were compared. Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 97.78%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(71.11%)(P<0.05).The nerve conduction velocity of the observation group was faster than that of the control group(P<0.05).The remission of related symptoms in observation group was significantly better than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients, the combination of lipoic acid and methylcobalamin can significantly improve the clinical efficacy and improve the related symptoms of patients, which is of great significance for the prognosis of patients.
