A Comparative Analysis of Bladder Preservation Combined Treatment and Radical Cystectomy for Invasive Bladder Cancer
Objective To explore the effect of cystectomy and cystectomy in patients with invasive bladder cancer. Methods The study subjects were selected from 70 patients with invasive bladder cancer admitted to our hospital from April 2016 to May 2023.They were divided into two groups by random number grouping method.Patients receiving radical cystectomy were defined as the reference group, and those receiving vesical-preserving comprehensive therapy were defined as the experimental group.35 patients were included in both groups.Comprehensive analysis was conducted on surgery-related indicators, postoperative complications, quality of life, recurrence rate within one year and survival rate of patients in both groups. Results The operation time, bladder irrigation time, catheter indwelling time and hospitalization time of experimental group were shorter than that of the reference group, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the reference group The scores of quality of life were higher than those of the reference group. The complication rate(5.71%)was lower than that of the reference group(28.57%),and the recurrence rate within one year(2.86%)was significantly lower than that of the reference group(22.86%),P<0.05,and the inter-group values were statistically significant:there was basically no difference in the one year survival rate between the two groups,P>0.05,and the inter-group values were not statistically significant. Conclusion Compared with radical cystectomy, comprehensive treatment with bladder preservation for invasive bladder cancer can effectively reduce blood loss, shorten postoperative rehabilitation process, improve quality of life, and reduce postoperative complications. The two methods have no effect on the survival rate of patients within one year.
