Effect of Bronchoalveolar Lavage in the Adjuvant Treatment of Severe Pneumonia Complicated with Respiratory Failure and its Effect on Inflammatory Factors and Lung Function
Objective To study the therapeutic effect of bronchoalveolar lavage in the treatment of severe pneumonia complicated with respiratory failure and its effect on inflammatory factors and lung function. Methods 300 patients with severe pneumonia combined with respiratory failure admitted from January 2017 to January 2023 were divided into 2 groups by random number method,150 patients in the control group received conventional treatment, and 150 patients in the observation group received bronchoalveolar lavage on the basis of the control group. The changes of inflammatory factors, pulmonary function and the changes of the two groups before and after treatment were compared. Results The levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),human interleukin-10(IL-10)and tumor necrosis factor(TNF-a)were significantly decreased after treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05);After treatment,FEV1 and PEF in the observation group were significantly increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of clinical efficacy in the observation group was 88.67%,much higher than that in the control group 74.67%,and the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For the patients with severe pneumonia complicated with respiratory failure, the application of bronchoalveolar lavage adjuvant therapy can effectively alleviate the inflammatory condition of the body, improve the impact of lung function on the body, enhance the therapeutic effect, and promote the outcome of the disease.
