Changes and Predictive Value of Lymphocyte Subpopulations and Cytokines of Severe Pneumonia Patients
Objective To explore changes and predictive value of lymphocyte subpopulations and cytokines for patients with severe pneumonia. Methods The paper chose 80 severe pneumonia patients admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023,and divided them into severe group of 40 cases and non severe group of 40 cases according to condition severity. At the same time,40 healthy individuals with physical examination in our hospital were included in control group.Lymphocyte subpopulations and cytokines in blood of three groups was analyzed and tested, and difference in lymphocyte and cytokine levels among patients with different severity levels was explored. Results Comparison of lymphocyte subpopulations showed, levels of CD3+,CD4+,and CD8+in severe group were(62.08±4.95),(25.16±2.96),and(35.94±2.89),while those in non severe group were(71.01±4.23),(30.28±2.83),and(29.07±1.53).At the same time, lymphocyte levels in above two groups were lower than(80.24±3.70),(34.13±2.58),and(24.81±2.36)in control group(P<0.05),difference was statistically significant.Cytokine levels in severe and non severe groups were higher than control group.in addition, cytokine levels in severe group were significantly higher than non severe group(P<0.05),difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Detection of lymphocyte subpopulations and cytokine levels can effectively assess condition severity of patients with severe pneumonia, provide effective basis for subsequent treatment, which can be widely applied in clinical practice.
