Objective To explore application value of combined detection of fecal occult blood and tumor marker in diagnosis of colorectal cancer. Methods The paper chose 100 suspected colorectal cancer patients in Guangzhou City Panyu District Rehabilitation Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022,carried out combined detection of fecal occult blood, tumor marker for all patients, and analyzed test results. Results There were 95 confirmed cases, levels of CA24-2,CA19-9,and CEA of patients with confirmed colorectal cancer were significantly higher than undiagnosed cases,P<0.05.Combined detection:detection rate, sensitivity, and specificity was 98.00%,98.41%,and 97.30%respectively.Diagnostic effect of combined detection was significantly higher than single detection method,P<0.05.Conclusion Combined detection method of fecal occult blood and tumor markers can achieve higher diagnostic effect on colorectal cancer than single testing, which is worthy of promotion and application in clinical practice.
