Objective To explore and analyze application effect of health education for hospitalized patients with pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods The paper chose 103 hospitalized patients with pelvic inflammatory disease from January 2022 to December 2022 as study samples, and divided them into observation group and control group based on difference of nursing plans, with 52 cases and 51 cases in each group, treated with routine nursing intervention combined with health education and routine nursing intervention respectively.Excellent rate of knowledge mastery after intervention was evaluated, improvement time of clinical symptoms and signs, life quality scores, and nursing satisfaction degree were research indicators for both groups. Results After intervention, excellent rate of knowledge mastery in observation group was 96.15%,that in control group was 64.71%.Excellent rate of knowledge mastery in observation group was significantly better than control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).Observation group had significantly more ideal improvement time for various clinical symptoms and signs than control group, there was statistical significance in comparison(P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).Life quality scores of both groups after nursing were higher than before nursing, improvement degree of observation group was more significant than control group, with significant comparative difference(P<0.05).After health education, satisfaction degree of observation group was as high as 98.08%,much higher than 88.24%of control group, statistical testing showed P<0.05.Conclusion Health education and nursing interventions can achieve high application advantage for hospitalized patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, can improve disease awareness level, control clinical symptom improvement time within reasonable range, provide strong support for life quality of patients, with ideal nursing satisfaction degree.
