Objective To analyze current situation and application trend of tonic Chinese patent drugs in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2022,and provide reference for rational use of such drugs.Methods The paper counted annual sales amount and consumption of tonic Chinese patent drugs in the drug database from January 2018 to December 2022,and analyzed sales amount,defined daily doses(DDDs),daily drug cost(DDC),total amount ranking number/DDDs ranking number(DUI)of tonic Chinese patent drugs with DDDs analysis method.Results Daily drug cost of oral forms of tonic Chinese patent drugs has been increasing year by year,while proportion of injections has been decreasing year by year.Oral dosage forms have been widely applied,but they are relatively expensive.Conclusion Variety structure of tonic Chinese patent drugs in our hospital is basically reasonable,the value of commonly used tonic drugs is on the high side,and economic burden of patients is too heavy.Incidence of adverse reactions of tonifying drugs has been increasing year by year,it is necessary to pay attention to rational drug use.
