Effect of Pantoprazole Combined with Octreotide on Patients with Upper Gastrointestinal Ulcer Complicated with Bleeding
Objective To analyze the effect of Pantoprazole combined with octreotide in the treatment of upper gastrointestinal ulcer complicated with bleeding. Methods In this study,60 patients with upper digestive tract ulcer complicated with bleeding admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology of the First Hospital and the Second Hospital of Xuzhou Mining Group from September 2018 to July 2023 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group with 30 cases each.On the basis of conventional treatment, the control group was treated with octreotide monotherapy. The experimental group was treated with Pantoprazole combined with octreotide, and the two groups were treated for 7 consecutive days. The therapeutic effect, serum hemoglobin, reticulocyte, urea nitrogen levels and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 90%higher than that of the control group(73.33%),with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment, there were statistically significant differences in hemoglobin level, reticulocyte and urea hydrogen value between two groups in comparison and interaction between groups(P<0.05).Compared with control group, the hemoglobin, reticulocyte and urea nitrogen values of experimental groups were higher than those of control group after treatment, with statistical differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was low,and there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05),suggesting that the combined use of the two drugs is safe for patients with digestive tract bleeding. Conclusion Pantoprazole combined with octreotide has a significant effect on upper gastrointestinal ulcer complicated with bleeding, which can effectively control bleeding, with a small incidence of adverse events and good safety.
