Effect of Minimally Invasive Plasma Ablation on Tonsil Adenoid Hypertrophy in Children and its Influence on Sleep Quality
Objective To explore and analyze the effect of minimally invasive plasma ablation on hypertrophy of tonsil gland in children. Methods 248 patients with tonsil adenoid hypertrophy admitted to our hospital from January 2014 to December 2021 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to the mode of operation. The control group received tonsil dissection and adenoid curettage,a total of 106 cases;the observation group received minimally invasive plasma ablation,a total of 142 cases. The differences of clinical treatment effect,operation-related indexes, occurrence of complications and sleep quality between the two groups were analyzed. Results The therapeutic effect of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the surgery-related indicators and complications of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the A/N ratio and sleep disorder score of the observation group after treatment were lower, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Minimally invasive plasma ablation has good effect in the treatment of hypertrophy of tonsil gland in children, which can reduce intraoperative blood flow, shorten operation time, shorten recovery time, reduce postoperative complications and improve sleep quality, and is worthy of promotion and application.
