Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Damp Hot Compress Combined with Abdominal Moxibustion on Limb Motor Function of Patients with Lower Limb Spasms After Stroke
Objective To observe effect of traditional Chinese medicine damp hot compress combined with abdominal moxibustion on limb motor function of patients with lower limb spasms after stroke.Methods The paper chose 60 patients with lower limb spasms after stroke admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to December 2022,and divided them into control group and study group randomly,with 30 cases in each group.Control group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine abdominal moxibustion treatment,while study group with traditional Chinese medicine damp hot compress combined with abdominal moxibustion treatment.Treatment outcomes,lower limb spasticity scores,and limb motor function scores were compared between two groups before and one month after treatment.Results Curative effect of study group was significantly better than control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After one month of treatment,lower limb spasticity scores of study group were lower than control group,while limb motor function scores were higher than control group,difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of traditional Chinese medicine damp hot compress method and abdominal moxibustion can improve limb motor function of patients with lower limb spasms after stroke significantly,and alleviate symptoms of lower limb spasms.
