Clinical Curative Effect Study of Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment Combined with Metronidazole Oral Adhesive Tablets
Objective To explore clinical effect of minocycline hydrochloride ointment combined with metronidazole oral paste in treatment of periodontitis.Methods The paper chose 100 patients with periodontitis admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022,and divided them into observation group and control group randomly.Control group was treated with minocycline hydrochloride ointment alone,while observation group with metronidazole oral adhesive tablets in addition to control group.Clinical effect,gingival index,periodontal pocket depth,gingival sulcus bleeding index,plaque index,and inflammatory factors and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Results ① Total effective rate of observation group was 98.00%,that of control group was 82.00%,P<0.05.② Oral indicators of two groups had significant improvement,above indicators in observation group were significantly better than control group,P<0.05.③ After treatment,inflammatory factors including tumor necrosis-α of two groups were significantly higher than before treatment,above indicators in observation group were significantly better than control group,P<0.05.④ During treatment period,neither group experienced serious adverse reactions.Conclusion Minocycline hydrochloride ointment combined with metronidazole oral adhesive tablets can achieve ideal effect,improve periodontal environment of periodontitis patients effectively,which is safe and reliable.
