Effect Observation of Two Dressing Change Methods on Reducing Infection Rate of Femoral Vein Catheter Placement Via Burn Wounds
Objective To investigate effect of different dressing changing methods on infection rate of inserting femoral vein catheters via burn wounds, and explore dressing changing norms and standards for femoral vein catheters via burn wounds further. Methods The paper chose burn wound patients with femoral vein catheterization from March 2022 to February 2023,and divide them into two groups randomly:one group was observation group(30 cases),treated with standardized dressing change methods, and the other group was control group(30 cases),with routine dressing change methods.Curative effect of infection rates was compared between two groups. Results Total infection rate of observation group was 13.33%,significantly lower than 46.67%of control group, data showed statistical significance between two groups.(P<0.05).Total satisfaction degree in observation group was 96.67%,significantly higher than 80.00%in control group, there was statistical significance between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Standardizing dressing change method can reduce incidence of catheter infection, improve nursing quality during placement of femoral vein catheters via burn wounds effectively, increase safety during the period, and enhance satisfaction degree of patients with standard medication, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
