Application Analysis of Blood Cell Morphology Combined with Blood Routine in Diagnosis of Infectious Diseases of Infants and Young Children
Objective To observe application effect of blood cell morphology combined with blood routine in diagnosis of infectious diseases in infants and young children. Methods The paper chose 400 infants and young children with infectious diseases admitted to our hospital from January to May 2023 as observation group, and another 400 healthy infants and young children during the same period as control group. Both groups of infants and young children were tested for blood cell morphology and blood routine.Blood routine indicators(WBC,NLR,LDR,RDW)between two groups were observed, accuracy of single diagnosis and combined diagnosis was compared. Results Bacterial infection:LDR of observation group was lower than control group, and RDW,WBC,and NLR was higher than control group, with statistical significance indicating(P<0.05).Viral infection:NLR of observation group was lower than control group, and RDW,WBC,and LDR was higher than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Accuracy of combined diagnosis was significantly higher than single blood routine diagnosis and blood cell morphology diagnosis, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of blood cell morphology and blood routine testing has high value and accuracy for diagnosing infectious diseases of infants and young children, and scientific and reliable basis for formulating treatment scheme.
