Effect Research of Early Sleep Deprivation on Rectal Pressure Detection of Infants and Young Children
Objective To explore effect of early sleep deprivation on rectal pressure measurement of infants and young children. Methods The paper chose 60 children aged 3 and under with anorectal pressure testing from April 2022 to May 2023 as study subjects, and divided them into two groups according to principle random number table:sleep deprivation group(n=30)and routine nursing group(n=30).Both groups were treated with anal and rectal examination.Routine nursing group was treated with routine intervention during examination period, while sleep deprivation group with early sleep deprivation intervention on the basis of routine intervention.Duration, proportion of interference waves of examination results, adverse reactions after examination, satisfaction degree of family members were compared between two groups. Results Sleep deprivation group had shorter preparation time, detection time, and total time than control group(P<0.05).Proportion of interference waves and total incidence of adverse reactions in sleep deprivation group was 6.67%and 6.67%respectively,lower than than 30.00%and 33.33%in routine nursing group respectively,(P<0.05).Satisfaction degree of family members in sleep deprivation group was 93.33%,higher than 73.33%in routine nursing group(P<0.05).Conclusion Rectal pressure testing can shorten examination time, ensure accuracy of examination results, reduce incidence of adverse reactions after examination, and improve family satisfaction degree of infants and young children with early sleep deprivation intervention during examination process significantly.
