Effect Analysis of Emergency External Fixation in Clinical Treatment of Patients with Open Fractures of Middle and Lower Tibia
Objective To explore clinical effect of emergency external fixation in treatment of patients with open fractures of middle and lower tibia. Methods The paper chose 60 patients with open fractures of middle and lower tibia from February 2021 to May 2023,and divided them into observation group(treated with emergency external fixation),control group(with steel plate internal fixation)randomly, with 30 cases in each group.Surgical performance indicators, life ability scores, disease Effect, complications, etc were compared and analyzed. Results Intraoperative and postoperative indicators of observation group were lower than control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in life ability scores between two groups before intervention, and after treatment, those of observation group were higher than control group(P<0.05).Total effective rate in observation group was 96.67%(29 cases),higher than 66.67%(20 cases)in control group(P<0.05).There was 1 case(3.33%)of traumatic arthritis, nerve irritation, and incision infection in observation group, lower than seven cases(23.33%)in control group, difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Emergency external fixation can promote early fracture healing, minimize surgical trauma, reduce intraoperative and postoperative bleeding, reduce incidence of complications, improve living ability and disease effect of patients with open fractures of middle and lower tibia, which is suitable for clinical promotion.
