Application Effect Observation of Continuous Monitoring of Intracranial Pressure in Postoperative Treatment of Patients with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury
Objective To investigate clinical effect of continuous intracranial pressure monitoring in postoperative treatment of patients with severe traumatic brain injury. Methods The paper chose 54 patients with severe traumatic brain injury in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022,and divided them into control group and monitoring group randomly by drawing lots, with 27 cases in each group, treated with traditional neurosurgical treatment and continuous postoperative intracranial pressure monitoring.Curative effect was compared and analyzed between two groups. Results Curative effect and prognosis of monitoring group was significantly better than control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).Incidence of postoperative complications in monitoring group was significantly lower, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Dosage,duration,and length of stay of dehydrating agents in monitoring group was significantly lower than control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous intracranial pressure monitoring can effectively improve prognosis, accelerate postoperative recovery, shorten hospital stay, improve overall curative effect significantly, and reduce dosage and duration of dehydrating agents effectively in postoperative treatment of severe traumatic brain injury patients, which has positive effect on preventing postoperative complications and is beneficial for recovery of patients.
