Effect Analysis and Nursing Experience of Elderly Comprehensive Evaluation on Life Quality of Patients with Chronic Comorbidity and Frailty
Objective To explore effect of comprehensive evaluation of the elderly on life quality and nursing experience of patients with chronic comorbidities.Methods The paper chose 120 elderly patients with chronic comorbidity and frailty admitted to a certain hospital from July 2021 to July 2022,and divided them into non comprehensive group and comprehensive evaluation group randomly,with 60 cases in each group.Non comprehensive group was treated with routine nursing intervention,comprehensive evaluation group with elderly comprehensive evaluation and corresponding intervention measures based on routine nursing.Improvement of frailty symptoms after intervention was compared between two groups,effect of physical symptom control of patients was monitored to evaluate their life quality.Results After intervention,comprehensive evaluation group showed significantly lower weight loss,fatigue,decreased grip strength,decreased walking speed,and decreased physical activity dimension scores and total scores than non comprehensive group(P<0.05).Total scores of SSI scale for physical symptoms in comprehensive evaluation group were significantly lower than non comprehensive group(P<0.05).Total scores of WHOQOL-BREF for life quality after intervention in comprehensive evaluation group were significantly higher than non comprehensive group(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive evaluation of the elderly can comprehensively analyze chronic disease condition and frailty symptoms,improve physical symptoms,correct frailty status,and enhance physiological,psychological,and other health levels,improve prognosis and life quality of patients,with reliable clinical application effect,which is worthy of promotion and reference.
