Effect Research of Health Education and Exercise Therapy Participated By Family Members on Blood Glucose Control of Obese/Overweight Type 2 Diabetic Patients
Objective To analyze effect of health education combined with exercise therapy on blood glucose control of obese/overweight type 2 diabetes patients with family participation. Methods The paper chose 130 obese/overweight type 2 diabetes patients in outpatient department of the community health service center from November 2021 to November 2022,and divided them into two groups by random number table,65 cases in each group.Control group was treated with routine nursing measures, while observation group with health education combined with exercise therapy with family participation.Changes in weight indicators, glucose metabolism indicators, lipid metabolism indicators, and self-management behavior were comprehensively evaluated between two groups before and after intervention. Results After intervention, body weight, body mass index(BMI),waist to hip ratio(WHR)of both groups was significantly lower than before intervention(P<0.05).At the same time, body weight indicators in observation group were significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).After intervention, both fasting blood glucose(FBG),postprandial 2-hour blood glucose(2hPG),and glycated hemoglobin(HaAlc)was significantly lower than before intervention in the same group(P<0.05).At the same time, glucose metabolism indicators in observation group were significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).After intervention, total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)of both groups was significantly lower than same group before intervention(P<0.05).At the same time, lipid metabolism indicators in observation group were significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).After intervention,self-management ability scale(SDSCA)of two groups was significantly higher than same group before intervention(P<0.05).SDSCA scores of observation group were significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Health education and exercise therapy participated by families can significantly enhance self-management ability, improve effect of blood sugar control, and reduce weight level and blood lipid indicators of obese/overweight type 2 diabetes patients effectively.
