Blood Pressure Control Study of Community Clinical Decision Support System for Hypertensive Patients
Objective To analyze application effect of Community Clinical Decision Support System(CDSS)on blood pressure control of hypertensive patients. Methods The paper reviewed and studied diagnosis and treatment data of primary community health service institutions in Kunshan from July 10,2018 to July 10,2022,and divided hypertensive patients with poor blood pressure control into CDSS group and routine treatment group based on whether CDSS management was used during the visit.Difference in blood pressure levels and blood pressure control rates was analyzed between two groups after one year of management, difference in blood pressure control of patients with different hypertension grades was compared with covariance analysis. Results 3304 cases were included in CDSS group and routine treatment group respectively, there was no statistically significant difference in main risk factors between two groups at baseline(P>0.05).After one year of management, blood pressure levels of both groups showed significant decrease,CDSS group showed higher blood pressure compliance rate(59.7%)than routine treatment group(53.8%).Systolic blood pressure(Mean 137.07 mmHg,SD 12.43)and diastolic blood pressure(Mean:80.39 mmHg,SD 9.24)were lower than routine treatment group(Mean:138.68 mmHg,SD 16.58;Mean:81.61 mmHg,SD 9.56),and difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among different subgroups of primary, secondary, and tertiary hypertension,CDSS group had better blood pressure control than routine diagnosis and treatment group, degree of hypertension reduction was higher for patients with higher hypertension grades. Conclusion CDSS can help grassroots doctors evaluate condition and adjust treatment plans of hypertensive patients, provide danger warnings and reminders automatically,so than hypertensive patients with poor blood pressure can control blood pressure better.
