Relationship and Research Progress Between Collagen and Cell Apoptosis
Collagen is an essential component of human body,mainly exists in skin,fascia,and tendons,which is crucial for maintaining basic structure and function of tissues.Pyroptosis is a complex programmed cell death pathway with important role for inflammation in the body.Research on cell apoptosis has made significant progress and become one of the most attention grabbing hotspots in recent years.Study of collagen has shown great potential in mechanism of cell pyroptosis,related studies have shown occurrence of cell pyroptosis is closely related to changes and development of collagen content in the body.The article reviews structure of collagen,mechanism and pathway of cell pyroptosis,effect of collagen in human body,and effect of cell pyroptosis on collagen,to provide reference for related research of collagen and cell pyroptosis,and new ideas for diagnosis and treatment of various diseases,which may be a new research direction for future treatment of clinical diseases.
