Corrective Effect Observation and Evaluation of Improved Mobile Orthodontic Appliances on Anterior Crossbite at Deciduous Stage
Objective To explore curative effect of improved mobile orthodontic device on anterior crossbite at deciduous stage. Methods The paper chose 32 children with anterior crossbite in primary teeth in Department of Stomatology of our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022,and divided them into two groups randomly.Control group was treated with traditional tongue spring pads, while observation group with improved mobility appliances.Clinical effect, bite indicators, projection measurement indicators, tooth angle and soft tissue indicators, and treatment satisfaction degree were compared between two groups. Results Effective rate of treatment in observation group was significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).After treatment,OJ and OB values in observation group were lower than control group(P<0.05).After treatment,SNA angle of observation group was larger than control group, and ANB angle was smaller than control group(P<0.05),SNB angle,L1-SN,U1-NA,and L1-MP between two groups was equivalent(P>0.05).Treatment satisfaction degree of observation group was significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Improved mobile orthodontic device can achieve significant effect on correcting anterior crossbite at deciduous stage, can increase SNA angle and ANB angle, restore tooth angle and soft tissue, improve occlusal relationship, and increase treatment satisfaction degree of patients effectively.
