Clinical Effect of Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor for Bladder Cancer and Its Effect on Prognosis of Patients
Objective To investigate clinical effect of transurethral resection of bladder tumor in treatment of bladder cancer and its effect on prognosis of patients. Methods The paper chose 80 patients with superficial bladder cancer in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2022,and divided them into two groups randomly.Control group was treated with traditional open partial cystectomy, and observation group with transurethral resection of bladder tumor(TURBT).Surgical indicators, complications, serum tumor markers, life quality, and recurrence were compared between two groups. Results Observation group had shorter surgical time, intraoperative blood loss, indwelling catheter time, and hospital stay than control group(P<0.05).Incidence of complications including urethral stricture, bladder perforation, bladder spasm, and obturator nerve reflex in observation group was lower than control group(P<0.05).Levels of CEA,CA12-5,BTA,and VEGF in observation group were lower than control group at 6 months after surgery(P<0.05).One-year postoperative recurrence rate of observation group was lower than control group, and EORTC QLQ-C30 scores were higher than control group one year after surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion TURBT is effective in treatment of bladder cancer with little trauma and good curative effect, can reduce level of tumor markers, reduce long-term recurrence and improve life quality after operation significantly.
