Clinical Effect Observation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces and Chinese Medicine Formula Granules in Treatment of Elderly Functional Constipation
Objective To analyze value of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces and traditional Chinese medicine formula granules in treatment of elderly patients with functional constipation.Methods The paper chose 60 elderly patients with functional constipation in our hospital from August 2020 to August 2021 as research subjects,and divided them into control group and observation group(30 cases in each group)randomly.Control group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine formula granules,while observation group with traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces.Clinical effect,clinical indicators,and adverse reaction rates were compared between two groups.Results Clinical effect of observation group(96.67%)was higher than control group(80.00%)(χ2 was 4.043,P<0.05).There was no difference in incidence of adverse reactions between observation group(13.33%)and control group(10.00%)(P>0.05).Clinical symptom scores,improvement and recovery time of stool characteristics,and defecation time in observation group were lower than control group,and life quality was higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces can shorten treatment and recovery time,ensure treatment safety and effect of elderly functional constipation,which is worthy of reference.
