Application of Angelica Cold Limbs and Evodia Rutaecarpa Ginger Decoction for Mixed Cervical Spondylosis Based on Diagnosis and Treatment of Jueyin Meridian
Objective To explore clinical effect of modified angelica cold limbs combined with evodia rutaecarpa ginger decoction based on differentiation of symptoms and signs in Jueyin meridian for mixed cervical spondylosis(CS).Methods The paper divided 50 mixed type CS patients in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 into two groups with random number table method,with 25 cases in each group.Control group was treated with routine treatment,while treatment group with angelica cold limbs combined with evodia rutaecarpa ginger decoction based on symptoms differentiation of Jueyin meridian.Both groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks.Clinical effect,degree of cervical mobility limitation,pain level,treatment satisfaction degree,cervical mobility,and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Results Total effective rate of treatment group was higher than control group(P<0.05).Treatment group had lower scores on Neck Pain Questionnaire(NPQ)and Visual Analog Scale(VAS)than control group,while Tanaka Yasuhisa Symptom Scale 20 point method had higher scores and cervical range of motion than control group(P<0.05),No significant adverse reactions were observed in both groups.Conclusion Angelica cold limbs combined with evodia rutaecarpa ginger decoction based on differentiation of symptoms and signs in Jueyin meridian can achieve good effect for mixed CS,can help reduce pain and neck limitation of patients,achieve satisfactory treatment effect,which is worthy of promotion.
