Effect and Mechanism of Pubescent Angelica and Loranthus Decoction Combined with Acupuncture and Moxibustion on Rheumatoid Arthritis
Objective To explore effect and mechanism of pubescent angelica and loranthus decoction combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods The paper chose 90 patients with rheumatoid arthritis in our hospital from May 2021 to November 2022,and divided them into control group and observation group randomly.Control group was treated with routine western medicine,and observation group with pubescent angelica and loranthus decoction combined with acupuncture and moxibustion.Curative effect was compared between two groups.Results Total effective rate of treatment in observation group(95.56%)was higher than control group(80.00%)(P<0.05).Number of joint swelling,morning stiffness time,and joint pain scores in observation group were lower than control group after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in RF and ESR between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,that of observation group was lower than control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in levels of C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6 between two groups,(P>0.05).After treatment,those of observation group were lower than control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence of adverse reactions between observation group(2.22%)and control group(6.67%)(P>0.05).Conclusion Pubescent angelica and loranthus decoction combined with acupuncture and moxibustion can achieve high application value in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis,can accelerate speed of clinical symptom relief,alleviate pain caused by disease,and improve inflammatory response,which has high safety and is worthy of application and promotion.
