Curative Effect Observation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Compound Essential Oil Combined with Pediatric Massage in Treatment of FD Children of Spleen Deficiency and Qi Stagnation Type
Objective To explore clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine compound essential oil combined with pediatric massage in treatment of functional dyspepsia(FD)children with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation type.Methods The paper chose 58 FD children with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation type in Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of Fuzhou City Children's Hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 as study subjects,and divided them into observation group(n=30)and control group(n=28)with random number table method.Observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine compound essential oil combined with pediatric massage,while control group with pediatric massage treatment only once a day,with a 5-day interval of 2 days as treatment course,for 2 courses.Clinical effect,overall symptom scores,and traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores were compared between two groups.Results Recovery rate of observation group(97%)was significantly higher than control group(82%),with statistical difference between groups(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in overall scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms and major symptom scores between two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,scores of major traditional Chinese medicine symptoms showed significant decrease,overall scores of symptoms were significantly higher than before(P<0.01).After treatment,those of observation group were significantly better than control group,with statistical difference between groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine compound essential oil combined with pediatric massage can significantly improve discomfort symptoms of FD children with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation,including epigastric distension or pain,dizziness,belching,fatigue,and loose stools,with significantly better treatment effect than pediatric massage only.
