Application of Bronchoscopy Combined with Bronchoalveolar Lavage Fluid NGS Examination in Early Diagnosis and Treatment of Pulmonary Infections
Objective To explore application of bronchoscopy combined with bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(NGS)examination in early diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary infections. Methods The paper chose 75 patients with pulmonary infections admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 as study subjects, and divided them into control group and observation group randomly.37 cases in control group were treated with bronchoscopy, while 38 cases in observation group with bronchoscopy combined with bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(NGS)examination.Diagnostic accuracy of two examination methods was compared, clinical symptom disappearance time and inflammatory factor levels between two groups were observed. Results Diagnostic accuracy of bronchoscopy combined with NGS detection in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid was 98.67%,higher than bronchoscopy detection;Disappearance time of fever, cough, sputum, lung rales, and hospital stay in observation group was significantly lower than control group. Before treatment, there was no significant difference in WBC,CRP,and PCT levels between two groups. After treatment, the WBC,CRP,and PCT levels in observation group were significantly lower than control group, difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of bronchoscopy and NGS detection in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid can achieve high accuracy in early diagnosis of pulmonary infection, can shorten clinical symptom disappearance time and lenth of stay, and reduce inflammatory factor levels quickly and effectively.
