Effect of Targeted Nursing with Intravitreal Injection of Ranibizumab on Wet Macular Degeneration and Vitreous Hemorrhage
Objective To explore effect of targeted nursing with intravitreal injection of ranibizumab on wet macular degeneration and vitreous hemorrhage. Methods The paper chose 68 patients with wet macular degeneration admitted to ophthalmology department of Huai'an City the First People's Hospital from March 2019 to March 2022 as study samples, and divided them into observation group of 34 cases and control group of 34 cases with random number table method.Control group was treated with routine nursing intervention, while observation group with targeted nursing for intravitreal injection of ranibizumab.Inflammatory factors(SDFl-ɑ),LIF levels, best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),macular fovea thickness(CMT),serum levels of angiogenic regulatory factors VEGF,matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor-1(TIMP-1),endostatin(ES),platelet derived growth factor(PDGF),and vitreous hemorrhage status were compared before and after nursing between two groups. Results After nursing,SDFl-ɑ and LIF levels decreased,SDFl-ɑ and LIF levels in observation group after treatment were significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in BCVA and CMT between two groups(P>0.05).After nursing for 1 month,2 months, and 3 months,BCVA of observation group was higher than control group, while CMT was lower than control group(P<0.05).After nursing, serum levels of VEGF and PDGF in observation group were significantly higher than control group, while serum levels of TIMP-1 and ES were significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).There was no vitreous hemorrhage in two groups. Conclusion Targeted nursing can achieve significant effect for patients with wet macular degeneration treated with intravitreal injection of ranibizumab, with some certain degree of safety, which is worthy of widely clinical promotion.
